Description of the course:
POS progressive off-piste system is a revolutionary method for advanced piste skiiers who allows them to learn off-piste skiing quicker, easier and saver than with other methods. With the help of certified UIAGM Mountain Guides and the POS
program everybody who has the abilities to ski fluidly on-piste can learn to ski off-piste thanks to a step by step program who is well adapted to the needs of a off-piste beginner.
Our Mountain Guides  teach you the essential techniques of off-piste skiing while you`re enjoying a wondererful run of one of the more than 100 off-piste runs in Klosters-Davos.

- using extention movement for easier turning
- speed control
- dual ski floating technique
- parallel turning on low angled off-piste slopes in easy snow conditions
- about 10 rhythmical short turns on low angled off-piste slope with easy snow
  conditions 
- simple techniques to deal with difficult snow conditions
- kickturning

avalanche safety     
- use of avalanche safety equipment like beacons & airbag  
- simple techniques to search a buried friend in a avalanche
- basic knowledge to avoid the main risks of avalanches

Required material:
Proper off-piste skis with touring binding, skiboots, ski-skins and poles. These items are not included in the course price, but you can rent them easily in the local sportshop.

We can organise this course for as a private groupe at the date of your wish.
There fore we ask you for a early booking. Beside the advantage of beeing in the surrounding of your friends, we offer you a special price if you`re booking as a group of minimum 4 participants.

Bookings later than 30 days before the begin of the trip are causing additional costs of 150.- CHF.
Please book as early as possible. The best time for bookings is until the end of December. We make every year the same experience that people want to book very short before the trip when all our mountain guides are allready busy.
